Advisory support for owners and operators in grooming, wellness, hospitality, and people-based service businesses.

About

ABOUT

Keystone Collective Advisory exists to help service-business owners make better decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and build operations that are sustainable, disciplined, and grounded in reality.

Our work is informed by real-world experience in salon, spa, and barbering, as well as wellness and hospitality-driven businesses such as restaurants and nightlife—where labor, culture, reputation, and guest experience are the business.

We offer experienced judgment and perspective—not templates, programs, or one-size-fits-all solutions.

Advisory work is conversational and direct, shaped by the realities owners face day to day. We serve as a sounding board for decisions that affect people, culture, and long-term stability.

Clients

CLIENTS

We advise owners building people-based service businesses, from independent operators establishing their first location to owners leading established teams, including:

• Barbershops and salons
• Spas and wellness businesses
• Fitness studios and training facilities
• Hospitality- and nightlife-adjacent service businesses

Regardless of scale, these businesses share the same fundamentals: labor-driven economics, client experience, reputation, culture, and the long-term consequences of misaligned decisions.

Anthony MankoskiFounder & Lead Advisor

Anthony Mankoski is a service-business operator and advisor with more than two decades of experience across high-end salons, barbershops, private clubs, and people-driven service environments. He is the founder of Penn Barber Company and Keystone Advisory Collective.

In addition to operating within the grooming and wellness world, Anthony works in close proximity to senior professionals and business leaders across a wide range of industries. Through long-standing professional relationships built over years—not transactions—he is regularly exposed to how experienced operators think about risk, timing, people, capital, and decision-making at a high level.

This access informs his advisory work. Anthony’s perspective is shaped not only by his own operating experience, but by daily conversations with owners, executives, attorneys, and decision-makers who have built, scaled, protected, and, in some cases, unwound complex businesses. As a result, his advisory approach emphasizes clarity, judgment, and long-term consequence over tactics or trends.

Within Keystone Advisory Collective, Anthony serves as the front door for all engagements—helping owners articulate the real issue, slow decision-making when needed, and determine whether advisory support is appropriate and, if so, who is best positioned to provide it.

Johnny "Banana" Zarra - Senior Advisor

Johnny Zara is a longtime hospitality and nightlife operator with more than 50 years of experience building, running, and sustaining people-driven service businesses. He is best known as the former owner of The Electric Banana—an iconic Pittsburgh music venue—and Zara’s Restaurant.

Across decades of operation, Johnny navigated shifting cultural trends, economic cycles, and the realities of managing staff, reputation, and consistency in environments where experience is the product. His career reflects rare longevity in industries where most businesses fail quietly and early.

As Senior Advisor, Johnny brings perspective on culture, reputation, timing, and the long view—helping owners understand how decisions made today shape whether a business is still standing years down the road.

Bryana Hunsberger - Advisor - Operations & Leadership

Bryana Hunsberger is an operations-focused service-business leader with 20 years of experience in retail and people-driven environments. Over the past six years, she has served in a regional leadership role overseeing multiple Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa locations, working directly with teams, managers, and ownership to drive consistency, accountability, and sustainable performance across units.

Her experience sits at the intersection of systems and people. Bryana has built and led teams, implemented operational standards, and navigated the realities of staffing, scheduling, guest experience, and performance management in businesses where margins are shaped as much by leadership and culture as by numbers.

Within Keystone Collective Advisory, Bryana helps owners translate vision into structure—building operations that support growth without sacrificing service quality, team stability, or culture.

While widely recognized for his technical skill, his advisory value is rooted in helping businesses maintain high standards while evolving with changing talent expectations and industry pressures.
